What does it mean to "GIVE IT TO GOD"... let me tell you. To 130 Forest Ridge girls it meant alot. The Motherhood gave them pencil and paper and told them to write anything they wanted to. Something that haunted them, maybe even kept them up at night. A note to someone to tell them how sorry they are for something they had done or said. Maybe a letter to let God know they love him. Whatever was written on that paper was between God and them. Each and every girl lay a hand on a wooden cross we had taken out to Gruver and then the note was dropped in a basket . Special prayers were said for one and all. Those who pray together stay together in thought and in the love they hold for our Holy Father. If you have never given it to God.... I urge you to do so today. We ended with songs and refreshments provided by the Forest Ridge staff. The girls enjoyed the time we spent together. I had a young lady tell me she wrote a note that told of something she had carried around and never told anyone. She gave it to God that night. Although he already knew .... she now feels better to get it off her shoulders. Our Forest Ridge girls are truly a God sent.
