Byron's latest letter dated October 2008
I write to you on behalf of Byron. He greets you with much love and wishes a Merry Christmas to you with many blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ. Byron and his family are well. He is in the first grade in school. He is learning to write and to read. He likes to play baseball with his friends in school. We had an afternoon of sports and he Had much fun playing soccer. He participated in two civic activities in the Student Center. He learned about environment and our National flag.
We had a birthday celebration in the Center and students received sup rises and ate delicious chocolate cake.
Fluoride was applied to his teeth to keep them healthy.
Byron always prays for you and asks our Lord to give you work and abundant blessings in your life. Byron asks you to please pray for his family that God guard them and protect them anywhere they go.
Byron would like to know, how are you? How do you celebrate Christmas?
Byron made a nice picture for you and hopes that you think of him every time that you see his picture. He did it for you with much love. He sends you many hugs and kisses. He loves you in the love of God.

Dear sponsors Crossroads Community Church,
I write in behalf of the precious boy Byron who sends you much love and hopes that each of you may be enjoying of the blessings from God. She says that his family is very well. At home he had his birthday celebrated with a delicious lunch and cake. At Easter break he visited his grandparents. In school he learned to write his name and is finishing learning the abecedary. During the second perios he will learn to join letters. In the student cetner he participated in the cultural afternoon and St. Valentines Day. There he enjoyed with his friends and teacher. In a devotional he learned that his life has worth and in a civic act he learned about Tecun Uman (a national Hero). He had his nails, hair, ears, eyes, legs and arms checked and his weight is under normal, and now in the student center he is receiving complementary snack to be nourished. Byron enjoys the sport activity held in the student center. He and his team played socker. He also went to the year camp of the enter named "small hears of Jesus". Byron asks your prayers for his uncles John and Cesar who travel far. He doesn't know snow since he only has winter and summer in his country. He is happy to get your news and thank you very much for the gifts. He asks you: any of you play soccer do you like to travel? He thanks you for the letter from the bottom of his heart.
